Earlier this month, Popees had also launched its first showroom in the UAE at Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi, marking rapid expansion in the region. Currently, Popees has over 80 showrooms across India.
Established in 2003, Popees manufactures a wide range of products for children. The company has already made plans to open nearly ten more showrooms in Dubai alone this year, and further expansion is expected in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and other GCC countries.
Popees also has its own office and showroom in the UK and is planning to open new outlets in Australia this year. Recognizing the global market potential, Popees is preparing to enter several more international markets in 2025.
Popees currently manufactures and offers a wide range of baby care products including clothing for newborns to six-year-olds, baby oil, baby accessories, soaps, wipes, fabric wash, body wash, shampoo, lotions, towels, and more.
The company employs more than 2,000 people and has set its sights on building a factory in the UAE. Having started with high-quality clothing for children, Popees has now expanded its product line to include essentials for newborns and nursing mothers.
A new distribution network is also in the works to expand Popees’ reach across the UAE and globally.
In addition to Popees, the group owns another brand called Pomees, which currently operates five showrooms in Kerala.
Pomees focuses on products for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. The group hopes to expand the Pomees brand to 20 stores across GCC countries this year.
